Previously, I wrote about a device that had a very familiar sequence of glyph nodes, and where we were at repairing it. Unfortunately the device was far beyond repair, both in time and the resources we had. A couple days before Epiphany Night, we were able to fix all of the mini-beacons for each glyph node, or so we thought. It turns out our repair was flawed, and the time we spent to fix the flaws cost us the time needed to get our PLP in working order. We presented it at Epiphany Night as a part of our portal luminescence project, but did not work the way we like it to so we turned it off. After we packed everything we had and parted ways, I left the device alone for a few weeks.
I started repairing the device again two weeks ago. Our repair initially was not perfect, it turns out - one of the mini-beacons failed to work properly so we pretty much ditched it. That one would have been at the very bottom. A few more appear to work but their behavior is inconsistent. Just goes to show how fragile the artifact really was. I spent another twenty-hour hours or so at it, and I can say it is possible to light up more glyphs. For what purpose I still have no idea.
Breaks Immersion. For the technically inclined... here is a document describing what it took to bring up this engineering project.
In an earlier expedition to the Arcana vault, one of my colleagues brought back a mysterious device. We spend the last few weeks repairing this apparatus. This week we got it functional, and we want to show our findings.
At first, it was unclear what it was. It had a very familiar sequence of glyph nodes, each of which contained a mini beacon. The device came with a wand like object that appears to be able to emit energy compatible with the beacons on each node. The wand came unattached, and at first, simply waving the object in front of the glyph nodes did nothing. But when we connected the apparatus and the wand to the same electricity source, lights would start to appear.
We gestured the wand with the glyphs we knew, but so far we can only get the Body glyph to appear. It seems more work must be done to be able to activate all the glyph beacons and to understand its relationship with the other artifacts we found...

Misty, as you know, last month at research station [redacted], several Arcana agents were (accidentally?) exposed to the unshielded core of a techthulhu prototype. What you don't know, is that during the following weeks, they all reported similar dreams of a pyramid hidden in the woods. This tetrahedron was variously described as an object, a structure, or a machine by different dreamers.
That was last month, and if you've been keeping up with my work, you know I've been traveling. I mention it again because we've made a breakthrough. Acting on a hunch from one of our sensitives, and using records from the Arcana vault, we were able to pinpoint a probable location for the... The thing. The pyramid, tetrahedron, whatever it is. We got lucky (good or bad luck?) and we found it. Or at least part of it. Or maybe it's a key? We're not sure what we've got yet. But it's something. Something big. I think it's already affected me. We moved it to the locus of an old anomaly site in Navarro for containment and study. Here's a picture from the brief time it was in my possession.
